Please see below a Notice of Special Members Meeting (the “Notice”). We will be hosting a special members meeting on Tuesday November 12th, 2024 at 7:00 pm (ET) via Zoom to vote on proposed organizational changes to Georgian Nordic Ski and Canoe Club. Zoom details are included in the Notice. Also there is a proxy form that may be used if you are unable to attend. Please read the instructions carefully and note that a proxy holder must be a member of Georgian Nordic Ski and Canoe Club that is in good standing. Among other things, the Corporation is proposing such changes to a) ensure compliance with the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 (Ontario) and b) to change the criteria for membership in the Corporation to increase efficiency. The Notice contains proposed resolutions outlining the changes to be made. Please review the Notice in detail and confirm your availability for the meeting as soon as possible.
