Green Route

3.5 km loop. One of the easier routes at GNOAC that includes the mostly flat terrain of Bunny and Partridge trails.

Blue Route

8.0 km loop. An intermediate loop of rolling terrain featuring Bunny, Lynx, and Jackrabbit trails. The Lynx trail has two sections: Short Lynx and Long Lynx. Short Lynx involves turning at Junction H and looping back (approximately 5.5 km loop) whereas Long Lynx adds an extra 2.5 km to your ski. There are a few hills in this loop that require competent uphill and downhill techniques.

Yellow Route

This 2.0 km route features the Wolf trail which is a rolling and meandering trail with a couple of technical corners and a short, steep hill.

Red Route

4.4 km classic ski loop that includes the Bunny, ‘short’ Otter, and Bear trails. This is beautiful and intimately narrow, woodsy trail that requires intermediate to advanced ski skills to navigate the technical corners, undulating terrain, uphills and downhills. The red route needs a lot of snow in order to groom and trackset it but when it opens it’s a good one!

Pink Route

2.0 km classic loop that builds off of the Red Route. This is the popular Long Otter trail that needs a significant amount of snow in order to be opened for skiing. It is a winding, rolling, and beautiful trail that requires decent ski skills to navigate the terrain.

Orange Route

This is a 3.0 km loop that includes the Bunny and Moose trails. The upper section of the Moose requires a significant amount of snow in order be groomed smooth but the fun Lower Sprint section and the challenging Moose Hill can be groomed smooth with less snow on the ground.

Purple Route

7.1 km classic loop that includes the Fox and Beaver trails. Skiers will need to ski out and back on the Blue Route in order to access the Purple Route at Junction I which makes the entire ski experience a 15 km adventure. This is a popular 'backcountry' trail that needs a significant amount of snow in order to be opened for skiing. It is a winding, rolling, and beautiful trail that requires decent ski skills to navigate the terrain. There is a beautiful site located next to a small waterfall that makes a great destination spot. This route is 'out there' and isolated so skiers are encouraged to be prepared for a unique, remote ski experience.
